I honestly have to say I bought this book originally because I work with Jason's sister-law. I was intrigued with the ideal that this is a first self-published novel. The book flows well; the author needs to learn writing structure, sentences, paragraphs, and punctuation but the story...it was funny and serious and heartwarming. You see a different side of vampires and what their life after being turned becomes. You learn each Vampire has their own set of rules and idea's of justice. I've read many a vampire story and love and enjoy each of the author's views of the life style and make up of each vampire however, this writers view and ethics that the vampire has is unique and I have never seen it before.I would read a second book of this authors, and I love his first person storytelling and enjoy the way he speaks as his character. For $1.99 this book is a steal, I've spent more money on other authors books and not enjoyed the story as much as I enjoy this one.

Just enough violence and sex to keep my interest. The unexpected bad guy turns good guy was so interesting I had to keep reading.
