"Discovery" by Author A. D.
My Thoughts....
This 'Sisterhood' was definitely off the chart well done. I only wished that I had those friends...Pam, Renee, Kim and Monica. I enjoyed their bantering that they had among each other. This author did a wonderful job with this story so much was going on that the readers will find it hard to put down. With the main story being about Pam Robinson and Vance Sutherland who both had some real problems with their life style both of them definitely needing 'God's Grace, Love and Mercy.' The storyline was very well written with there being a lesson for all to learn from. My favorite part that brought me to tears was when Vance forgiveness took place with that beautiful song his mother sung to him..."Will your heart and soul say yes?" Now, I will stop here and just say you will have to read it to see how well that was presented in this story. Along with Pam finally also realizing that God is in control and forgives us. The characters were all well developed, defined and believable story giving the reader quite a interesting read. Now, will Pam and Vance have a HEA? Well, we will have to see how it comes out...maybe in another series?

This is A.D.’s second work in The Sisterhood Chronicles. It is a fast paced novel that engrosses the reader in the life of Pam, a member of The Sisterhood. Pam’s struggles with forgiveness and her ultimate discovery of herself and others is the central story line of the book. The one drawback of the novel is there are a few grammatical errors. Readers that are sensitive to those types of errors will notice but the errors do not distract from the story. This is another wonderful selection of Christian fiction from A.D. After reading Discovery, readers will anxiously await the next installment of The Sisterhood Chronicles!
I purchased this book when I met the author at Woodson Library. I hadn't read any books for a while and I was glad I started with this one because I REALLY enjoyed this book! The story moved at an appropriate pace and I couldn't wait to get to the next chapter. What I liked about the story is that Pam had a circle of supportive friends who had her back no matter what. I also loved the tension between Pam and Vance and found myself laughing at her friend, Kim's, remarks in different scenes. Overall, the story was heartwarming and engaging. I'm looking forward to reading more books by this author.
Let me just say that I am not an avid book reader. I purchased this book on Monday and finished it yesterday. I had to force myself to stop reading it and when I did I couldn't wait to pick up where I left off to read what happened next. It's amazing to see how God works in these characters lives. That's all I'm going to say for now. Kudos to A. D.!
Great read.
A series of four friends since childhood. This story is about Pam, who is a school teacher. A great well written story.
I enjoyed Vance and Pam’s story. Looking forward to the next installment. I recommend this book book.
